The MicroTrade programme is an initiative of the County & City Enterprise Boards of the Republic of Ireland, Enterprise Northern Ireland, and InterTradeIreland, and supports small companies (under 10 employees) in developing an All-Island market. JBM and Coral IT used the MicroTrade Link-Up funding (up to £5000) to jointly market their complementary products & services on an all-island basis.

JBM based in Galway, are the sole distributors in Ireland & the UK for the internationally recognised OneTap Point of Sale System & leading global Optima Property Management System. Coral provide the Coral PMS  a property management solution to ensure the continuous operation of the hotel front desk. Coral enable front of house to perform many different tasks including advanced reservations, group bookings, guest billing and over 100 reports covering marketing, financial reports and management reports.

The two companies, supported by MicroTrade and Galway County & City Enterprise Board, used the MicroTrade Link-Up funding to jointly attend the CATEX Trade Show in Dublin and to create marketing material that focused on the complementary nature of their respective products and services.

JBM, recognised as one of the fastest growing EPOS and Hotel PMS providers in southern Ireland, gained increased market share in Northern Ireland through their unique partnership with Coral IT.  Coral are the sole distributors for JBM products in Northern Ireland, a partnership that has proven very successful during 2008.

OneTap Epos has been installed in a number of well known Hotel properties throughout Northern Ireland, including the Bannville House Hotel and nightclub, Banbridge. OneTap's adaptability has facilitated Coral to complete installations in cafe's, bars, busy restaurants and hotels. The Indie Spice and The Jaharna chain of restaurants are both satisfied customers in Northern Ireland and speaks highly of, both the product and the after service, of Coral & JBM.  Other installations JBM and Coral have partnered on include the International Branded Clarion Hotel.

Coral and JBM  have been providing their Point of Sale and  PMS software to the Irish hospitality for the past 7 years, with installations all over Ireland including The Ramada - Ballina, Setanta House Hotel – Celbridge and the Blue Haven Collection - Kinsale to name just a few.

Using the combined knowledge of Coral IT and JBM they can collectively provide a total solution to suit any hotel throughout Ireland.  Their impressive client list includes Raheen Woods Hotel - Athenry,  Glencarn Hotel - Castleblayney and Hotel Newport – Newport all taking advantage of the expertise and dedication of both the after sales care and support provided by both companies.

The working relationship between JBM and Coral IT has been strengthened via MicroTrade’s Link-Up funding, and the two companies are continually recommending each other’s services to existing and potential customers. Their respective knowledge of the local marketplace has enabled both companies to increase ‘speed to market’, access an existing customer base, and expand their range of services.
