Microtrade provides Market Entry Assistance funding of up to £1,000 / €1,100 (on the basis of 50% of total applicable costs) to encourage and support CEB / LEA companies in taking proactive steps toward developing sales and business opportunities in a cross border market.

Examples of possible uses of the fund include:

• funding toward relevant trade fair attendance
• to facilitate the employment of a consultant or a specialist mentor with appropriate sectoral expertise based within the new target area
• to fund marketing or research and development costs
